Gwen and her sister Hazel were friends and neighbours to my Mother , Mary Weeks, for many years. Gwen was such a lovely lady who was so kind to Mum, and who was always there for her, keeping an eye, especially in Mum’s later years. As a family, we have never forgotten Gwen’s kindness and patience. I used to pop across to see Gwen with my young daughter and have a cup of tea and biscuits, while making a big fuss of Blackie, the Labrador.
